WE RESCUE AND REHOME ONLY DOGS TYPICALLY KNOWN AS "ENGLISH" BULLDOGS
WE ARE LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE

This is Gus.  He is an energetic, neutered, 70 lb., 3 1/2 yr old male.  He is an owner surrender because his family did not feel they had enough time to spend with him now that they had a new baby.  Gus is playful and will need an active family  preferably with a fenced yard  or lots of room for him to exercise with his basketball (yes, basketball). No cats! and he would probably be happier in a home where he was the only dog.  He is micro-chipped,  crate trained and UTD on his shots. He may need some obedience training to control his exuberance and learn some manners.  We will refund the cost of the training.  His only known health problem is skin allergies which are controlled with Science Diet for Sensitive Skin and antihistamines.
If you are interested in adopting Gus please fill out an applicatio
n and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

Gus Sweetgus in reposereaching for ball

Adopted  !!!!
This is Kingston.
He was picked up as a stray laying on the side of the road but he is feeling better now.    He is an approximately 6 year old neutered male, UTD on his shots.  He has severe dry eye that has impaired his sight and  will need daily treatment with artificial tears and Optimune. He has some skintags on his back legs but our vet says they are harmless.   He has some arthritis in his back legs and would probably be best in a quiet household with no small children.  He has quite mellow, has a  very sweet temperment, he would love to just be with you, sit on the sofa and nap. He jsut needs a loving home. If you are interested in adopting Kingston please fill out our application  and call Mari DeCuir at 865-688-2270.

Floyd is not a Bulldog but.....he needs a home.  We are trying to help Michele find him a loving family
We believe he is an Olde English Bulldogge mix. He is about 1.5 years old and currently weighs 55 lbs, but will probably continue to gain. He is up to date on shots. Floyd was found wandering around near the end of April nearly starved to death. He weighed 30 lbs. and tested positive for heartworms.. He has since had his first round of heartworm treatment and will have his second round the first of July. He will be neutered after that. He has truly blossomed since finding refuge. He is buttery soft, sweet as sugar, loves people including little ones, loves to play with toys, go for walks, and generally be around his person. He is good with puppies and submissive dogs. He is snuggly, wiggly, kissy and will make a remarkable forever dog. If you would like to know more about Floyd, please call Michele at 865-573-8804 or infostat@speakeasy.net.
